Wednesday, July 9^th 2008 marks the 8 th annual Joliet Race Fan Rally presented by Allstate in association with Chicagoland’s NASCAR weekend. Last year nearly 40,000 fans were on hand to meet famous drivers, see showcars and experience sponsor exhibits and products.

The Joliet Race Fan Rally presented by Allstate is free to the publicand takes place from 5pm to 11pm on Wednesday, July 9^th 2008. The event is organized and executed by the City of Joliet and the Joliet City Center Partnership.

The mission of the event is to allow NASCAR fans and families to expand their enjoyment of this great race weekend in a family-fun, free to the public environment in beautiful, historic downtown Joliet, IL. The downtown Joliet district is less than 3 miles from the speedway.

The Joliet Race Fan Rally presented by Allstate also draws large amounts of media attention. The event always draws strong covered by local and national TV, radio and print outlets. SPEED Channel has covered the event live on NASCAR Nation.

The Joliet Race Fan Rally presented by Allstate activities include driver appearances, showcar and simulator exhibits, as well as live entertainment, promotions and giveaways.
