NASCAR Festival in Chicagoland to
Feature Top Drivers

2007 Coca-Cola 600 winner joins driver line-up

JOLIET, Ill. (June 6, 2007) – Organizers for the CitiFinancial Race Fan Rally presented by AAA announced today the addition of six drivers to the line-up for this year’s NASCAR fan event in the Chicagoland area. Casey Mears, driver of the No. 25 National Guard/GMAC Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports and recent winner of the Coca-Cola 600, is one of the top drivers now slated to appear at the July event in downtown Joliet, Ill.

“I’m excited to represent both the National Guard and GMAC at the Joliet Race Fan Rally this year,” said Mears, who also won last year’s Busch Series event at Chicagoland Speedway. “It’s awesome to see so much enthusiasm for NASCAR racing in the Midwest, and I’m looking forward to meeting some of the fans who make our sport so much fun.”

As the kick-off event to Chicagoland’s USG Sheetrock 400, the Race Fan Rally will welcome fourth-year Race Fan Rally veteran and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup star Greg Biffle, as well as long-time corporate supporter Great Clips and driver Jason Leffler. AAA’s own David Ragan and CitiFinancial’s Stephen Leicht also will appear at their sponsor displays during the course of the event for fan autographs and more.

Corporate supporters of this year’s Race Fan Rally will offer fans the total NASCAR experience. The NASCAR show cars, simulators, driver autograph opportunities, live musical entertainment and the Pepsi Kidz Zone are just a sample of what this year’s event has in store for motorsports fans of all ages.
